          Welcome to Kannon Healing Counseling, a sanctuary for your mental well-being. I'm Cheiron McMahill, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (State of Washington), and I'm honored to provide compassionate mental health counseling to individuals ages 18 and above. Currently, I am giving priority to in-person appointments in Fairhaven, Bellingham, WA. I am excited to announce that along with self-pay, I can accept seven insurance plans, and I offer a special rate in yen for clients in Japan. Please see the Contact page for details.

         With a background of 40 years as an educator, I have transitioned to become a mental health counselor, driven by my deep desire to support others after a lifetime of rich experiences, learning, and personal growth. I have a deep commitment to cross-cultural and international individuals and couples, and am eager to support their unique identities, experiences, and languages.

         I know that life can often feel like an overwhelming series of challenges, leaving you feeling triggered and exhausted. Navigating your past or present circumstances and understanding yourself can be daunting. You may even have a clear sense of what you want to change, but taking the first step or staying motivated can be incredibly tough. Remember, you don't have to face it all alone. I am here to provide the support you need.

        My mission is to guide individuals in healing the wounds of trauma, childhood abuse, relationship stress, low self-esteem, grief, loss, discrimination, internalized oppression, xenophobia, and racism.  I am dedicated to creating a safe space where your healing journey can flourish. I warmly welcome LGBTQIA+ clients, ensuring an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected, validated, and truly understood.
